Ahlul Bayt News Agency - Senior Saudi cleric and the Friday prayer leader of the holy city of Makkah (Mecca), Sheikh Saleh Bin Hamid, dedicated his sermon to speaking about Daesh (ISIL, ISIS, IS).
He severely condemned the terrorist group of Daesh and called it un-Islamic and contrary to legitimate commands of God, Rai al-Yaum Arabic newspaper reported. He addressed the Saudi youth saying that membership in this group or donating to it means that one is involved in the killing of all Muslims.
The Saudi cleric stated that all Muslim scholars have come to a conclusion that ISIL is a deviant group and stressed that these “dogs” will enter into the hellfire just as the Prophet Muhammad (S) said.
According to the Saudi media, most of ISIL’s suicide bombers are from Saudi Arabia.
This unprecedented protest against ISIL by a Saudi preacher came days after a suicide bombing carried out by the ISIL-affiliated groups on a mosque used by the Saudi military in the southern Saudi region of Asir.
